MOD is committed to supporting its local communities. For grand opening day in Asheville, MOD will be donating 100 percent of proceeds from all pizza sales to Project Kick Start. Each year, Project Kick Start provides more than 800 at-risk children in Asheville with the opportunity to be involved in soccer or other team sports. Through the game of soccer, Project Kick Start strives to provide these children with the health and social benefits of youth team sports.

ABOUT THE STORE:

MOD Asheville was the site of a gas station from 1925 to May 2015. Originally a Standard Oil, it was then Walter Johnson's Esso Service and was most recently North Asheville Exxon. Built in 1985, the current building is 2,369 square feet with seating for 60, and an outdoor patio that will accommodate 28. MOD's unique interiors include its iconic "Wall of Fame" which features local Asheville landmarks, along with images of MOD customers and employees from around North Carolina. To pay homage to the building's past, vintage mechanical "creepers' are displayed on the wall.
