 “VRINDAVAN” COW GHEE - ENTIRE STOCK, SUPPLIED BEFORE SEPTEMBER 9TH, 2016 IN THE FOLLOWING SIZES PACKED IN CLEAR GLASS JARS.

See enclosed picture of the “VRINDAVAN” COW GHEE jar.

This voluntary recall has been initiated on September 9th, 2016 due to an undeclared milk allergen on “VRINDAVAN” COW GHEE labeling. Consumers who are allergic to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

We encourage you to immediately examine your inventory and quarantine the entire stock of “VRINDAVAN” COW GHEE until September 9th, 2016. In addition, if you may have further distributed it, please identify your customers and notify them at once of this product recall. Your notification to your customers may be enhanced by including a copy of this recall notification letter.

Those who have purchased “VRINDAVAN” COW GHEE should return the product to its place of purchase for a full refund.

This recall should be carried out to the wholesale, retail, consumer and user level. Your assistance is appreciated and necessary to prevent a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction to consumers.

No allergic reaction has been reported to date.

This recall is being made with the knowledge of the Food and Drug Administration.
