James Cowper gave testimony before the MI House of Representatives on creating more effective processes to access and provide employment to veterans.
WATERFORD, MICHIGAN, USA, August 11, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Mr. James Cowper, president, Contract Professionals, Inc.(CPI) recently gave testimony before the House of Representatives in Lansing, Michigan on the importance of creating more effective processes to access our nations out processing military personnel and veterans, in order to provide them with civilian employment opportunities.Certified by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VOSB) and the National Veteran Business Development Council (NVBDC) Cowper leads CPI’s efforts to hire our nations out processing military personnel and veterans from the company’s corporate headquarters in Waterford, Michigan.
His testimony was the first step in a coalition building effort to ultimately pass legislation, which would allow the military to release service member’s contact information to employers, with the intent of offering employment opportunities.
Led by Roz Lullove Cooperman, Cowper was part of a team of professionals who testified at the House, with the goal of advocating for the health and welfare of our military personnel. In particular, the Center for Neurological Studies team also testified on the challenges and solutions associated with the short and long term affects of head traumas sustained while in active military duty.
