Wind Destroyed Kansas Town, Now Wind Powers It

In 2007, a massive tornado destroyed Greensburg, Kansas. Architects incorporated sustainable building practices into the rebuilding efforts, including designing new municipal buildings to achieve the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) designation for energy efficiency.
