Oregon author brings hard work to success
Author David Nicholson partnered with Tate Publishing to kick-start the publication process of his personal memoir, “The Life of an Ozark Mountain Country Boy.”
A story of hardship, patience and strong faith, “The Life of an Ozark Mountain Country Boy” is a story of a poor Ozark Mountain boy who made it help others after his struggle to be the first in his family to graduate from college.
“I wanted my grandchildren to understand the Ozark Mountain folks and to have an example to follow for success,” shares Nicholson when asked about the inspiration behind his heartfelt book.
"A must-read book that is a one-amazing good story and has a great lesson to ponder," states Darcy Blobaum, Acquisition Editor for Tate Publishing.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Nicholson wanted people to understand what hard life folks had who lived in the Ozark Mountains. He wanted them to know too how hard work could result in a better life. He was a boy that would not spend money on pop or candy because he saved for college and worked part-time for college expenses at a time when no loans were available. Nicholson was drafty who served his country in the Marine Corp, and even while overseas, maintained his top secret actions secretly.
