SAGINAW, TEXAS, UNITED STATES, July 23, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- SAGINAW, Texas – Author Alyssa Michelle partners with Tate Publishing to kick-start the publication process of her juvenile fiction, “Be Careful What You Wish For: A Fairy Tale…of Sorts.”

A tale of fantasies, mysteries and fairies, “Be Careful What You Wish For” is a delightful adventure-packed children’s book about fairies with varied talents and problems, where discoveries can be found and how they come to be. Perhaps, it’s shown how there came to be evil fairies and how one human, in particular, had a part on it.

“I wanted to write a short book that would appeal to children and teach them a simple lesson, but as the years went by and my experiences changed and grew, the story changed and grew with me. I started the book when my children were young - somewhere around 1993, and as just a side hobby, but got more serious about it in 2003. However, my life was still very busy and writing took a backseat until 2010. I finally finished the book over the next couple years and had it published with Tate in 2013,” shares Michelle about the inspiration behind her book.

“This book is the first in a series of three. With the release of the next two, I hope to find readers and fans who share in the excitement of the stories and the issues they address,” states Darcy Blobaum, Acquisitions Editor for Tate Publishing.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Michelle was born and raised in the Texas Panhandle. She was married in 1983 and settled in the area. She went on to have four children whom she home-schooled and it was during this time she began writing. In 2000, her marriage ended and she moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area where she currently lives. There she began fostering children, focusing on special needs children and children with medical issues. She continued this work for 13 years and adopted two of the boys that came into her home.
