ORLANDO, FL, UNITED STATES, June 29, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- As Orlando continues to mourn the loss of loved ones, the city’s artists and entertainers have pulled together to create a tribute video in loving memory of all those that lost their lives.

Tina Torres, recording artist, has released a new single, “Smiling Guns”. Soon to be available on digital outlets. The proceeds will be donated to Heart Transformation aka Second Chance Charity, a non-profit that is offering mental health tele-therapy services, seminars and a new way of thinking to everyone in the world affected not only by the Orlando shooting but by the second round of attacks being brought about by religious, sexual orientation, political and racial sentiment fueled by ignorance and hate.

Tina and friends that were also affected came together and filmed a music video for her new song at Lake Eola Amphitheater on Saturday, June 18, 2016. Her song touches the very core of the hearts of people around the world and calls us to respond with love and unity amongst us.

Smiling Guns by Tina Torres

“When all else fails
And you've run all out of ammo
Just think for a minute
And remember what he said
Do good to those who've hurt you
Bless them that curse you
For a peaceful soul
All the world is yours”

Alvin Giles, Epicenter music producer, was deeply affected by the shooting at Pulse Nightclub and his friend, the late Shane Tomlinson, who was victim to the Orlando shooting. Tina, Alvin and Shane were the original members of “Frequency” rehearsing right in Alvin’s home. “Frequency” went on to become one of Orlando’s top cover bands.

Alvin says, “I began to meditate on the word pulse thinking about what was going on inside the club with the lights, lasers and I decided to take a more electronic route. It had a huge influence on me and that’s how the production came about.“
