U.S. Congressional Delegation Promotes Ties with Egypt
The U.S. Embassy in Cairo is pleased to welcome Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, Chairman of the Europe, Eurasia, and Emerging Threats Subcommittee of the United States House of Representatives, and the accompanying delegation to Egypt.
During their June 25-27 visit, Congressman Rohrabacher and the delegation plan to meet with President Sisi and with senior government and private sector officials to discuss the long-standing partnership between the United States and Egypt, efforts to fight terrorism, and shared interests in regional stability and security.
In addition to Representative Rohrabacher (Republican, California), the delegation includes: Representative Juan Vargas (Democrat, California);
Representative Steve King (Republican, Iowa);
Representative Richard Pittenger (Republican, North Carolina); and
Representative Alex Mooney (Republican, West Virginia).
