Seeking Information on Advanced HVAC&R Technologies
The Building Technologies Office (BTO) released a request for information to seek feedback from the public on the technical metrics and goals, and organizational structure for a proposed advanced heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) research and development (R&D) effort. In particular, BTO is interested in feedback on near-term and long-term performance and cost metrics, and on the structure of this proposed R&D effort. This information will be used by BTO to assist in planning this effort, and to help guide BTO in crafting a potential funding opportunity in a manner that is most effective in meeting DOE's HVAC&R goals, while also optimally targeting key industry needs. Find more information on BTO's current HVAC&R R&D portfolio.
This is solely a request for information and not a Funding Opportunity Announcement. BTO is not accepting applications. Submit your feedback by July 25, 2016.
