/EINPresswire.com/ -- GATINEAU, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 06/10/16 -- Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise motorists of the following lane closures on the Alexandra Bridge:

Gatineau-bound lane closure:

--  Saturday, May 28, 2016, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
--  Alternate date in case of inclement weather: Saturday, June 18, 2016,
    from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Ottawa-bound lane closure:

--  Saturday, June 11, 2016, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
--  Alternate date in case of inclement weather: Sunday, June 19, 2016, from
    7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The boardwalk may be partially reduced from Monday, May 30, to Friday, June 3, 2016, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Cyclists will be asked to walk their bikes alongside the construction cones, when required. Pedestrians and cyclists will need to use caution when crossing the boardwalk.

The closures are necessary to conduct general maintenance on the bridge.

The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
