BENICIA, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, June 2, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Vacaville, CA – May 26, 2016: Chef Tirzah has been cooking in Solano County, California for years. She has learned about healthy meals and cooks a variety of dishes for her family regularly. By changing the diet of her children, she noticed that they were able to experience fewer behavioral problems.

She believes that “Cooking makes you happy.” She began taking pictures of what she created, and loaded them onto a Tumblr Page. It became Tirzah Poetry and Catering, combining her two loves.

While Chef Tirzah is not a traditionally trained chef, she has immersed herself in the culinary world. She has read blogs and cooking magazines, obtain a wide array of recipe books, and watched many cooking shows.

Then, a member of her church asked her to cater a wedding. This is when she realized that she had potential. While she had never catered such a large event before and had no experience in a commercial kitchen, she was able to do it. Since then, she has taken a leap of faith, with her stable job, and has been renting commercial kitchens in order to provide catering services to the area. She has even been hired as a personal chef for several players of the Sacramento Kings.

Now, Chef Tirzah has a request for the world. She has created a Kickstarter campaign in order to be able to launch Tirzah’s Kitchen, where she will be able to have her own prep kitchen for catering as well as to offer To Go and Fit Meals and ‘Cooking with Tirzah’ classes. She would like to offer a pick-up location for to go meals and offer a retail space for clients who want to enjoy a healthy and organic breakfasts and lunches along with smoothies and juices. Tirzah was on guys grocery games on the food network, as well as an upcoming show called bringing it to the table that is soon to be released.

She is asking for pledges to total $20,000, which will provide her the startup money needed to go forth with the project. This includes being able to pay the deposit on the property, a few months on the lease, make some upgrades, have a “proper” grand opening, and pay inspection and permit fees.

Rewards are in place for different levels of donations as well. This includes a free meal being offered to those who pledge $100 or more an addition named after them on the menu. If you donate $150 you will receive a fresh baked original CookieCake gift set from Whipt In Benicia.
