Taking a break from building software to build a home, the Mark Systems team gained new skills, grew closer, and actively contributed to their community.

MOUNT HOLLY, NEW JERSEY, UNITED STATES, May 31, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Mark Systems continues its support of Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit organization that builds affordable ownership housing for families in need, by making a substantial monetary donation followed by an onsite volunteer day.

Ten employees from Mark Systems volunteered from the executive, consulting, and software engineering teams to assist in the new build. Together they worked to measure, cut, and nail into place the top plate on exterior walls; complete interior wall framing; apply sheathing to the entire exterior of the home; and cut out all window openings.

“The Mark Systems staff are all well experienced and bring building talents to our site that are not expected in a volunteers group. We got so much more done than we had planned for the day, and are in a great position to complete the home before schedule,” said Mike Coslop, Habitat for Humanity of Burlington County, NJ, Site Supervisor.
