USHCC Commends T-Mobile's Partnership With Univision

/EINPresswire.com/ -- WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - May 23, 2016) - The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce applauds T-Mobile's announcement last week of the addition of Univision to its growing list of Binge On video streaming providers. Univision is not only the number one network among Hispanics in the United States, for the second year in a row it is the number one prime time network in the country, beating out ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC.

T-Mobile amped up its latest signature move for the fifth time since launching Binge On last November and now boasts over 80 video providers, including Univision, that customers on qualifying plans can stream without using up their high-speed data. Binge On is fundamentally changing video consumption, and American consumers are responding. More than 377 million hours of mobile video have been streamed by T-Mobile consumers without using their high speed data since the Binge On launch. T-Mobile consumers are also doubling their online video use from participating program providers.

The USHCC believes that zero-rating programs such as Binge On ultimately can help promote the economic growth and development of Hispanic entrepreneurs by allowing them to stretch data so they have more to use for educational and entrepreneurial purposes.
