The UV-5G model is a battery-operated, 5-watt, short-wave (254nm) UV lamp. It combines mini size with maximum power, making the lamp extremely portable and highly effective.
The UV-5G lamp weighs only 11 oz (312g) and measures just 9 x 2¼ x 1¼ in (22.9 x 5.7 x 3.2 cm). It comes with a wrist strap to reduce hand fatigue and can be easily slipped into a pocket for convenient transport. The lamp is powered by four 1.5-volt AA alkaline batteries (not included), which provide 4 to 6 hours of use. An AC adapter and nylon travel pouch are also included.
