February 2016 - Google has signed a 225-megawatt wind power purchase agreement (PPA) with Invenergy to provide renewable energy for its data center operations. Invenergy will provide approximately 965,000 megawatt-hours of renewable energy annually from the Bethel Wind Energy Facility in Texas.
