Maryse and David Maclean’s new video, “Discovery, The Truth of Who We Are,” reveals their transformational journey to the discovery and remembrance of the truth of who we are.

David explains in the video that in the spring of 2004, he awoke to a brilliant, colorful and light charged energy that emanated from everything around him. A luminous energy infused him with a sense of belonging that embraced and comforted him in a way that he had never felt before. He felt a connection to everything and everyone, saying that it felt like this energy and he were one with no separation, joined in a state of oneness and peacefulness.

As heard in the video, questions began flooding Maryse and David’s minds in an attempt for them to understand and make sense of everything they thought they knew and believed to be true, such as:


“Why has war plagued mankind and every society since the beginning of time. When we think we have solved one problem and achieved some level of peaceful compromise, another problem or conflict arises. Why do permanent solutions seem to evade us and the desire for everlasting peace seem impossible to attain?”
“I have heard spiritual people say we are all one, and come from one source. Why then do I see so much suffering, sickness and poverty set against so much wealth, abundance and opportunity?”

Realizing that people are not limited, separate, or victims, David and Maryse began to create script and art from a deep knowing, a light filled space, that gives answers to their questions through the vision they received. David's art has become a visual representation of their journey to remembering the truth.
