Is an HPV Infection Really that Bad?; The CBCD Examines the Medical Evidence

It can be. HPV can lead to genital warts or cancer. (1)

Remember, the types of HPV that can cause genital warts are not the same as the types of HPV that can cause cancers.

“Infected with the human papillomavirus (HPV)? The CBCD recommends taking Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin.” - Greg Bennett, CBCD

An infection with the human papillomavirus (HPV) is not a good thing. In fact, an infection can lead to more than one type of disease. While it is true that in many cases, people with HPV never develop symptoms or health problems, if an HPV infection persists it can cause cancers of the cervix, vagina, and vulva in women. It can also cause cancers of the penis in men, and cancers of the anus and back of the throat, including the base of the tongue and tonsils (oropharynx) in women and men. Additionally, “HPV can also cause genital warts in men and women. The types of HPV that can cause genital warts are not the same as the types of HPV that can cause cancers.” (1)

How many people actually develop a disease due to HPV?

The CDC says that “every year, about 17,600 women and 9,300 men are affected by cancers caused by HPV. About 180,000 women and 160,000 men are affected by genital warts caused by HPV every year. Also, about 1 in 100 sexually active adults in the United States have genital warts at any given time.” (1) The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (CBCD) recommends that individuals who are infected with HPV, or who believe they may be infected, take Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin against the latent human papillomavirus. The formula of these natural, antiviral products was shown to reduce HPV symptoms in two separate post-marketing clinical studies that followed FDA guidelines. (2)

The studies showed that the Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR formula is effective against the HPV and other viruses. The clinical studies were published in the peer reviewed, medical journal Pharmacology & Pharmacy, the first, in a special edition on Advances in Antiviral Drugs. Study authors wrote that, “individuals infected with the HPV…reported a safe decrease in their symptoms following treatment with Gene-Eden-VIR.” (2) The study authors also wrote that “we observed a statistically significant decrease in the severity, duration, and frequency of symptoms.” (2)

Both products can be ordered online on the Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR websites, here:

Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR are natural antiviral dietary supplements. Their formula contains five natural ingredients: Selenium, Camellia Sinesis Extract, Quercetin, Cinnamomum Extract, and Licorice Extract. The first ingredient is a trace element, and the other four are plant extracts. Each ingredient and its dose was chosen through a scientific approach. Scientists at polyDNA, the company that invented and patented the formula, scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals, and identified the safest and most effective natural ingredients against latent viruses.

To date, Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR are the only natural antiviral products on the market with published clinical studies that support their claims.

The CBCD reminds the public that “ More than 40 HPV types can infect the genital areas of males and females. These HPV types can also infect the mouth and throat. Most people who become infected with HPV do not know they have it.” (1)

Are there treatments available against the HPV?

“There are no drugs approved against the HPV. Current treatments include procedures, such as cryotherapy, conization, and the Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure (LEEP). These procedures use liquid nitrogen, a surgical knife (scalpel), a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser, or electrical current to remove the abnormal growths caused by the HPV. These growths include cells that harbor the active virus. The procedures do not target cells with the latent virus. Since they do not remove the latent virus, these procedures only produce a temporary remission.” (2) In contrast, Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR were designed to target the latent HPV.

“We recommend that individuals infected with the latent HPV, or who think they may be infected, take Novirin or Gene-Eden-VIR” - Greg Bennett, CBCD
