Local Student Awarded Future Engineers Scholarship From Kelly Services(R)
/EINPresswire.com/ -- TROY, MI--(Marketwired - February 24, 2016) - Kelly Services is pleased to announce the recipient of its 2016 Future Engineers Scholarship, Joy Lees, a biomedical engineering student at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. The announcement is being made during Engineers Week (Feb. 21 - 25, 2016), a time when many employers focus on the contribution and commitment of engineers today and the need for skilled engineers in tomorrow's workplace.

In addition to having an outstanding academic performance, candidates are required to write an essay that is judged based on depth of knowledge and awareness of the issue and/or challenge addressed, as well as creativity, composition and originality. Eligible entries are first judged by the Kelly Services Review Committee with the top 10 finalists moving on to be judged by the Executive Review Committee, where a final winner is selected.
