Plas-Tech's new process for DuPont's SPC11-compliant Teflon® coatings has earned the company Authorized Fastener Coater certification from Intech Services.

WEST CHESTER, PA, USA, January 29, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- In response to DuPont’s new line of SPC11-compliant Teflon® fastener coatings, Plas-Tech Coatings has developed a new process for coating application under SPC11 and, in turn, has earned the company’s approval by Intech Services as an Authorized Fastener Coater. Working in close partnership with Intech Services, this new process meets or exceeds the following requirements:

• Pass 1000 hours of salt spray per ASTM B117
• Pass Cross Hatch Adhesion Testing to ensure proper substrate adhesion
• Pass MEK rub test to ensure proper curing
• Pass Appearance Test
• Demonstrate process and quality testing for coating and or plating processes
