The Spectroline® XL-1500 SPECTROLINKER™ UV crosslinker is ideal for UV sanitization of tools, devices and work surfaces in the forensic laboratory. Its short wave UV (254 nm) tubes provide efficient reagent decontamination, including carryover contamination, while preserving PCR amplification of minute quantities of DNA.

It's equipped with a programmable, "smart," user-friendly microprocessor controller and also features an auto-repeat function, four operation modes, an LED-function indicator and a color-coded keypad. Numerous built-in "help" messages provide tremendous benefits to the user, including an indication of when UV tubes need to be replaced, when an operation has been interrupted, and the completion of a sanitizing cycle. It will also advise if the door is open during a run, which protects the user from accidental UV radiation exposure.

The XL-1500 SPECTROLINKER has six 15-watt, short-wave UV (254 nm) tubes, housing dimensions of 24"W x 10.5"H x 14"D (61.0 x 26.7 x 35.6 cm) and a weight of 26 lb (11.8 kg). The crosslinker is also available in 120V, 230V and 100V versions.
