The Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) has been linked to a growing number of cancers, including Burkitt's lymphoma-leukemia, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and adult T-cell leukemia-lymphoma (among others). New evidence suggests that when infection with EBV occurs early in life, it raises the risk of developing cancer later on.
