Barbera as Senior Managing Director, Commercial Private Banking specializing in commercial real estate. Michael is now a part of the bank's multifamily lending team serving both the New York and New Jersey marketplace.

Mr. Barbera joins the bank after a distinguished 30-year career in the banking industry where he most recently served as senior vice president, commercial real estate at Capital One Bank in Melville, New York responsible for relationship management, growth and retention of a $1.6 billion deposit portfolio representing approximately 600 clients in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to that, he held equally impressive positions in New York City at Commercial Bank of New York, First Mechanics Finance Company and The Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. where he was instrumental in the growth of commercial client portfolios and deposit base.

A resident of Mahopac, New York, Mr. Barbera holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University and Masters of Science in Banking from Mercy College.
