Gazprom and MVM address gas supply issues
The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company's Management Committee and Peter Csiba, CEO of MVM.
The parties addressed the issues of Russian gas supply to Hungary.
Background
Hungarian state-owned MVM is focused on power and heat generation and marketing as well as gas pipeline construction, gas storage and sales, telecommunication services.
MVM is a shareholder of Panrusgaz, a major gas supplier to the Hungarian market. The company's shares are distributed as follows: MVM – 50 per cent, Gazprom Export – 40 per cent, Centrex Hungaria – 10 per cent.
