"Asian Super Team: Team Up for Good" in Chiayi

Elites from Six National Teams Enter Farming and Fishing Villages for the Running Man Challenges.

TAIPEI, TAIWAN, December 3, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The prologue for the second “Asia Super Team” contest sponsored by the Bureau of Foreign Trade was held by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council on October 12th. Enterprise elites from six nations have arrived at the fishing and farming villages in Tainan and Chiayi on October 13th to participate in the traditional Taiwanese challenges such as scarecrow binding, oyster cutting, and salt carrying.

The critically acclaimed multinational conference and incentive travel marketing “Asia Super Team” contest event of the MEET TAIWAN plan debuted last year. The second contest expanded this year and included teams of elites from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Australia. They arrived in Taiwan yesterday to participate in fierce 5-day and 4-night field competitions. The event this year is closely linked to corporate social responsibility (CSR), and the six national teams are invited to “Report for Good Deeds.”

Compete for the King of the Fishing Village Title with Wits and Strengths

The second stop for the six national teams is the Bu Dai Zhou Nan Salt Field in Chiayi that is well-known for its fishing salt. The contestants participated in the oyster cutting and fishing-salt carrying contests. Not only do they have to carefully cut-out oysters to win first place in the “oyster award,” they also have to exert team spirit and successfully weigh out 10 kg of sea salt. In addition to the two fishery salt contests, contestants from the six countries also highlighted the theme of the event—the “Report for Good Deeds” spirit in the pulp-stepping operation to help repair the Zhou Nan Salt Field.
