Honorary doctorate for Nestlé Chief Executive, Dame Fiona Kendrick

Dame Fiona Kendrick, chief executive of Nestlé UK and Ireland, has been
awarded
an honorary doctorate by Sheffield Hallam University for her distinguished
contribution to the food and drink sector and her outstanding work in promoting
skills development and university-industry collaboration.
Ian Wright, Director General of the Food and Drink Federation said: “This is a fitting recognition of Dame Fiona and her leadership of the food and drink industry.
“In particular Dame Fiona has been a prime mover in the vital efforts being made to address the skills shortage facing the food and drink industry.
“Dame Fiona's contribution to nurturing the food engineers of the future is outstanding. All of us in the FDF are delighted that her passion and dedication have been recognised so appropriately.”
