Southeast Wind Industry Supply Chain Assets Highlighted in New Online Map
Date: 11/2/2015
The Southeastern Wind Coalition, in partnership with the American Wind Energy Association and the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center, has developed a Southeast Wind Energy Industry Supply Chain Asset Map that highlights companies engaged in the full value chain of the industry, including those that manufacture components, provide services, and conduct research associated with the wind industry. More than 100 companies in the Southeast are currently represented in the database, including those that are not currently engaged in the industry but have the potential to become involved. The interactive map allows for sorting by industry sector, state, and whether a company is currently engaged in the industry. Companies that are not yet included in the database can create a free profile. The Southeastern Wind Coalition is partially funded by the Energy Department.
