Team Toyo’s Kyle LeDuc Captures Back-to-Back Pro 4 Class Championships

LAKE ELSINORE, CA – Team Toyo’s Kyle LeDuc was crowned 2015 Pro 4 Class Champion this weekend in the Lucas Oil® Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS), making him back-to-back champ.  He arrived at the Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park in Lake Elsinore, CA having already secured enough points to earn the title.  Without the pressure to win the championship, LeDuc still showed his competitive spirit by qualifying first for the final Round 17 on Saturday.  He ultimately finished second overall during the main event with his #99 Monster Energy / Toyo Tires® Ford F-150 equipped with Toyo® Open Country M/T®-R tires.

LeDuc claimed 12 victories this season, and has stood on the podium 14 times out of 17 total races.  By the first weekend of August while in Estero Beach, Baja California, Mexico; LeDuc set the LOORRS record for the most consecutive Pro 4 class wins in a single season… 10 in a row.  He won the Pro 4 class championship in 2012, finished runner-up in 2013, won the 2014 championship, and is now the 2015 Pro 4 class champion.

“Toyo Tires have kept me hooked to Mother Earth long enough to capture back-to-back Pro 4 Championships,” said LeDuc.  “We captured a groundbreaking 12-in-a-row with absolute ease.  And yet, we never settled… and have continued to develop the best tires possible, while always striving for perfection.”

Team Toyo’s Brandon Arthur ended the year on a high note by winning the prestigious Pro Lite Challenge Cup race on Sunday in his Toyo Open Country® A/T II tires-equipped #6 Competitive Metals / Pro Traffic Services / Toyo Tires Ford truck.  Saturday he finished second out of 25 total trucks and captured third overall in the 2015 Pro Lite class points race.  Arthur scored a total of two wins, seven second place finishes, and a third place this season.

“What a great year we had on our Toyo tires,” said Arthur.  “Our truck was hooked up all year long and led us to great finishes.  We came home with a third in the points and the Challenge Cup win. What a great finish to a good season!”

“A big congratulations to Kyle LeDuc on winning back-to-back Pro 4 Unlimited class championships on our Toyo Open Country tires,” said Stan Chen, senior manager of events and sponsorships, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp.  “We also want to say congratulations to Brandon Arthur for winning the Pro Lite Challenge Cup race, and for finishing third overall in the 2015 Pro Lite championship.  We are proud to be part of their tremendous success.”
