EFSA to re-open 2012 and 2013 reports on zoonoses
EFSA is reviewing its 2012 and 2013 European Union Summary Report on Trends and Sources of Zoonoses, Zoonotic Agents and Food-borne Outbreaks due to inconsistencies in the data submitted by some Member States.
In the 2012 report, data under revision are those relating to Salmonella. In the 2013 report, experts are reviewing data on Salmonella, Verocytotoxin-producing Escherichia coli ( VTEC) and West Nile virus. Affected sections are highlighted with watermarks in both reports.
The revised documents will be published by March 2016.
