IXP Corporation Marks 15th Anniversary

Vision of Two Founders Reinvents Delivery of Public Safety Services Throughout U.S.

PRINCETON, NJ - (NewMediaWire) - September 9, 2015 - IXP Corporation, a prominent public safety and emergency response provider, announced its 15th year anniversary as national demand for its managed services platform continues to grow.

The firm is led by its management team of William E. Metro, chairman and chief executive officer; Lawrence D. Consalvos, president and chief operating officer; and Amy Onder, chief of business operations and general counsel.

Mr. Metro and Mr. Consalvos were two of the original nine founders of IXP and have worked together continuously since 1993. They have spearheaded IXP's evolution from project-based work to a company whose foundation is service delivery. They also have directed IXP's rebranding and oversaw the company's move during 2013 to its present headquarters in Princeton, New Jersey's technology corridor.

"During the past 15 years, IXP has reinvented the model of how government services can be provided to the public," says William Metro. "Our long-term managed services platform provides municipalities with emergency call centers that meet the highest performance standards while substantially reducing economic burdens. In reality, we provide services that are better, faster and more cost-effective."

IXP's model for emergency call centers -- IXP SAIF® 911 -- has changed the paradigm in this sector nationally, resulting in sustained 50 percent revenue growth for the company during the past three years. IXP now has its centers operating across multiple cities throughout the U.S. and has secured $40 million in signed contracts through 2019. In the last year, IXP has added more than 50 new executives and staff members. The company now employs more than 170 staff while creating jobs and hiring locally in New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Georgia.

Lawrence Consalvos, IXP's president and chief operating officer, explains, "Clients gravitate toward us due to our ability to set and exceed stringent metrics while also offering notable savings in operating and capital costs. We provide a distinctive platform that directly alleviates the cost burden for local governments that are facing unfunded pensions and other liabilities. Police officers and firefighters also are able to return to their core mission duties rather than helping train or staff emergency call centers."

Amy Onder, who joined IXP during 2007, was named chief of business operations earlier this year after previously being appointed to the Company's Board of Directors. She comments, "Bill Metro and Larry Consalvos have proven to be outstanding leaders, driving our vision and growth for 15 years. We look forward to continuing our upward trajectory as our team of public safety experts and technological capabilities provide clients with integrated assessment, planning, design, and implementation, as well as operation and staffing."
