WASHINGTONThe U.S. Department of Transportations Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a $173,500 civil penalty against Servisair LLC., of Houston, for allegedly violating federal drug and alcohol testing regulations.
The FAA alleges that Servisair failed to include 10 of its safety-sensitive employees in random drug and alcohol testing pools during several months in 2013. Three of the employees performed safety-sensitive functions a total of 24 times while not in the random pool.
