FDF's Kate Halliwell named Nutrition Society Council Member

FDF's Nutrition and Health Manager Kate Halliwell has been announced as one of five new Nutrition Society Council Members.
Kate has been appointed as Council Member representing Industry, ensuring that the food industry perspectives are represented, and bringing the sector's knowledge and experience to the role.
The Nutrition Society's Members of Council represent the diverse interests of their members in a range of areas: public health; policy making; clinicians and medical professionals; those working in industry; animal nutritionists; academics and researchers; and students.
Kate Halliwell, FDF Nutrition & Health Manager, said:
“Food and drink producers take the quality of their products and health of their customers very seriously, which is why nutritionists have such an important role in the UK food and drink industry. I am delighted to represent them as Nutrition Society Council Member.
