July 2015 - District of Columbia (D.C.) has finalized a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Iberdrola Renewables for the entire output of the Iberdrola's South Chestnut 46-megawatt (MW) wind farm in Pennsylvania. The 20-year PPA is expected to supply the city with 125,000 megawatt-hours (MWh) annually and save District residents $45 million over the next two decades.
