Herpes: One Reason Your Vagina Hurts; The CBCD Reviews the Medical Evidence
Visible blisters and intense pain accompany a genital herpes outbreak. (1)
“Infected with the herpes virus (HSV-1, or HSV-2)? The CBCD recommends taking Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin.” - Greg Bennett, CBCD
Intense pain in the pelvic area, in particular the vulva, is common during a genital herpes outbreak. Dr. Mary Jane Minkin said that “Patients will call me at 1 in the morning and say, 'I found a lump on my bottom.' My first question-after I groggily wake up-is, 'Does it hurt like a son of a bitch?' If the answer is yes, it's likely herpes. And if the answer is no, it can't be herpes.” (1) Dr. Minkin is a clinical professor of obstestrics and gynecology at Yale School of Medicine. “No one wants to believe they've contracted an STI, but according to the Center for Disease Control, about one out of every six American adults will get it in their lifetime.” (1) Dr. Joseph Maurice adds to Dr. Minkin's warnings, writing that “infectious causes of acute vulvar pain include … acute genital herpes.” (2) The vulva is the outer part of the vagina. Once infected, the initial outbreak can be so severe that hospitalization is required. Dr. Maurice continued, writing that, “Primary genital herpes infections can be extremely painful with an accompanying flu-like illness; patients may require admission for intravenous, antiviral therapy and pain management.” (2 )
WebMD notes that when the pain is not severe enough for hospital admission, women can take an over-the-counter pain reliever, “such as aspirin, acetaminophen, or ibuprofen.” (3) Additionally, “doctors sometimes recommend soaking the affected area in warm water. But the area should be kept dry most of the time. If toweling off after bathing is uncomfortable, try using a hair dryer. Then put on cotton underwear. Cotton absorbs moisture better than synthetic fabric does.” (3)
The CBCD believes in helping women deal with a herpes infection naturally. “When a woman discovers that she is infected with the genital herpes virus, she will want to safely, effectively, and naturally reduce symptoms.”– Greg Bennett, CBCD.

The CBCD recommends that HSV-2 infected women take Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin, which are two natural safe and effective, antiviral products shown to reduce herpes symptoms in two separate post-marketing clinical studies that followed FDA guidelines.
Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin are not drugs, and they do not prevent genital herpes. Instead, they are natural herpes remedies designed to help the immune system target the latent virus. The formula of these natural antiviral products was tested by Hanan Polansky and Edan Itzkovitz from the CBCD. The studies showed that the Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin formula is effective against the family of herpes viruses, including HSV-1 and HSV-2. The clinical studies were published in the peer reviewed, medical journal Pharmacology & Pharmacy, the first, in a special edition on Advances in Antiviral Drugs. Study authors wrote that, “individuals infected with (HSV-1 or HSV-2)…reported a safe decrease in their symptoms following treatment with Gene-Eden-VIR.” (4) The study authors also wrote that, “We observed a statistically significant decrease in the severity, duration, and frequency of symptoms.” (4)

Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin are natural antiviral dietary supplements. Their formula contains five natural ingredients: Selenium, Camellia Sinensis Extract, Quercetin, Cinnamomum Extract, and Licorice Extract. The first ingredient is a trace element, and the other four are plant extracts. Each ingredient and its dose was chosen through a scientific approach. Scientists at polyDNA, the company that invented and patented the formula, scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals, and identified the safest and most effective natural ingredients against latent viruses.
To date, Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin are the only natural antiviral products on the market with published clinical studies that support their claims. Note: Novirin has the same formula as Gene-Eden-VIR. However, it contains higher quality and more expensive ingredients.
With the numbers of HSV infected individuals in the millions, uninfected individuals may have sex with an infected person and not know it. “People with genital herpes can still infect their sex partners - even if they are taking anti-herpes drugs that prevent herpes outbreaks. Even when they don't have an active herpes outbreak, people who carry genital herpes viruses are at risk of infecting their sex partners…” (5)
“Women who experience intense pain in their vagina accompanied by blisters should see their doctor right away. Additionally, because herpes establishes a latent infection, we recommend taking Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin against the latent form of the virus.” - Greg Bennett, CBCD
All orders of Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin are completely confidential, and no information is shared or sold to any third party. Privacy is assured.
