Frogs vs. Genital Warts; The CBCD Reviews New Medical Information
Three-fourths of men with anogenital warts caused by (HPV) had clinical remission of symptoms following treatment with a frog enzyme. (1)
“Infected with the human papillomavirus (HPV)? The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (CBCD), recommends taking Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin.” - Greg Bennett, CBCD
The human papillomavirus causes genital warts. A new study found that an enzyme “derived from the eggs of Rana pipiens, or Northern Leopard frog” (1) was shown to cause total clinical remission “in 18 of 24 evaluable patients (with anogenital warts) … within 33 days of starting treatment.” (1) The remaining six patients had at least 50% improvement in the lesions. Dr. Luis Squiquera, MD wrote that the study “provides the first clinical evidence of the antiviral efficacy of ranpirnase and supports further assessment of ranpirnase in an expanded clinical study to treat anogenital warts.” (1)
It should be noted that the frog enzyme is not available in current treatments. The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease reminds the public that it can take some time before new treatments gain FDA approval. In the meantime, the Center therefore recommends that HPV infected individuals take Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin. The formula of these natural antiviral products was shown to reduce symptoms associated with the human papillomavirus in two separate post-marketing clinical studies that followed FDA guidelines.

The formula of Novirin was tested by Hanan Polansky and Edan Itzkovitz from the CBCD. The studies showed that the Novirin formula is effective against the HPV and other viruses. The clinical studies were published in the peer reviewed, medical journal Pharmacology & Pharmacy. The first study was published in a special edition on Advances in Antiviral Drugs.
Study authors wrote that, “individuals infected with the HPV…reported a safe decrease in their symptoms following treatment.” (2) The study authors also wrote that “we observed a statistically significant decrease in the severity, duration, and frequency of symptoms.” (2)

Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin are natural antiviral dietary supplements. Their formula contains five natural ingredients: Selenium, Camellia Sinesis Extract, Quercetin, Cinnamomum Extract, and Licorice Extract. The first ingredient is a trace element, and the other four are plant extracts. Each ingredient and its dose were chosen through a scientific approach. Scientists at polyDNA, the company that invented and patented the formula, scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals, and identified the safest and most effective natural ingredients against latent viruses.
To date, Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR are the only natural antiviral products on the market with published clinical studies that support their claims. Note: Novirin has the same formula as Gene-Eden-VIR. However, it contains higher quality and more expensive ingredients.
What other treatments are available against the HPV?
“There are no drugs approved against the HPV. Current treatments include procedures, such as cryotherapy, conization, and the Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure (LEEP). These procedures use liquid nitrogen, a surgical knife (scalpel), a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser, or electrical current to remove the abnormal growths caused by the HPV. These growths include cells that harbor the active virus. The procedures do not target cells with the latent virus. Since they do not remove the latent virus, these procedures only produce a temporary remission.” (2)
In contrast, the formula of Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin was designed to target the latent HPV.
