10 a.m. ET Join the Maine Ocean and Wind Industry Initiative (MOWII) for a webinar exploring Laufer Wind's Aircraft Detection System, designed to turn aviation warning lights on only when aircraft are in the vicinity of a wind farm. When aircraft are not in the vicinity, the lights remain off at night, decreasing the visual impact of wind farms on the surrounding communities and environment. The system is the only product of its kind that has been successfully tested by the Federal Aviation Administration on a wind farm. The webinar is free, but registration is required.
