BluePay Adds New Features and Functionality to QuickBooks Desktop and POS Plugins

BluePay recently updated its QuickBooks Desktop plugin with new features and functionality.

NAPERVILLE, IL, USA, May 28, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Leading integrated payments processor, BluePay, recently updated its QuickBooks Desktop plugin with new features and functionality to help streamline the reconciliation process and manage payments more efficiently.

BluePay’s QuickBooks Desktop plugin gives merchants the ability to process credit card and eCheck/ACH payments directly within the QuickBooks environment. Now with the newly added functions, merchants can also import any transactions processed on the BluePay Gateway directly into QuickBooks Desktop. Upon import, QuickBooks will automatically create new customers it does not recognize and update any rebilling cycles that were originally created from within the QuickBooks setting. Additionally, merchants can process credit memos against specific invoices using the expanded Credit Memo tab.

BluePay also provides a payment plugin for QuickBooks POS. Using the plugin, merchants can easily integrate QuickBooks POS with the BluePay payment environment. The POS plugin has recently been updated to function with QuickBooks POS 12. It is also available for QuickBooks POS versions 10 and 11.

Existing merchants using the plugins will continue to process as usual without any interruptions to service.

“BluePay is committed to providing the most up-to-date, feature-rich solutions for integrated processing,” commented Tim Trench, Executive Vice President of Product at BluePay. “As one of our most heavily downloaded plugins from our website, we want to continuously review and add new features and functionality to our QuickBooks plugins to ensure that we’re offering our merchants the most advanced processing solutions.”
