USDA Seeks Applicants for the Rural Energy for America Program

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) invites applicants to apply for renewable energy development assistance grants. The deadline to apply is February 12, 2015. These grants are part of USDA's Rural Energy for America Program, which was created under the 2008 Farm Bill and reauthorized under the 2014 Farm Bill. Energy audit and renewable energy development assistance grants are available to state, tribal, or local governments; institutions of higher education; rural electric cooperatives; public power entities; and Resource Conservation and Development Councils.
