Local author Haley Lambert has recently teamed up with Tate Publishing to kick-start the publication process of her book “Fishy Tales”.

“Fishy Tales” is an inventive and empowering children's book about Dot the sea turtle and the numerously fun adventures she has with her friends under the sea.

"I started creating the characters of this children’s book about two years ago. I wanted to submit my book at a local State of New Mexico English Expo; my teacher encouraged me to submit another one as I did the year before in my 10th grade year. .. It was important I get these characters exactly like I could see them in my story. The story came first, and then I drew the characters to match their personalities," shares Lambert.

Haley Lambert is from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Raised as a Christian, Lambert believes that through Christ, she and her family have become a strong family unit. During her free time, Haley enjoys hanging out with her younger sister, Hannah who is 13.
