Commission calls for expert cosmetics risk assessors
If you are a scientist with experience in risk assessment of consumer products, the European Commission’s Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS) is seeking additional external experts for its working groups.
The SCCS provides the Commission with scientific opinions concerning risk assessment of consumer products, manly cosmetic products and their ingredients, which the Commission uses to develop policies on the consumer protection.
Expertise is required in one or more of the following areas: analytical chemistry, toxicokinetics including modelling, reproductive toxicity, dermatology, sensitisation, and in vitro toxicology.
