CVEC Now Offers Green Energy
October 2014 - Central Virginia Electric Cooperative (CVEC), a member-owned, not-for-profit electric utility, is now offering a green power program. The voluntary program is available to all classes of consumers on all territory served CVEC. The Renewable Energy Rate, R, is set at 1.5¢ per kWh. The rate might be changed once per calendar year depending on REC market conditions.
