Cincinnati -- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today issued a Final Request for Proposal (RFP), for the performance of infrastructure support services at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant (PGDP), Paducah, Kentucky. A firm-fixed-price, labor hour, cost reimbursement, and indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract line will be awarded from this Final RFP. The total estimated value of the contract is between $100 and $180 million, with a three-year base period of performance with an additional 22-month option period.
A Draft RFP was released June 10, 2014, requesting comments from industry. This acquisition is a 100 percent set-aside for small businesses under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561210, Facilities Support Services.
Infrastructure support services to be provided under this acquisition include: Surveillance, maintenance and repair of facilities; Janitorial services; Grounds maintenance and pest control; Snow removal, roadway and parking lot maintenance; Computing, telecommunication and cyber security; Fleet management; Real and personal property management; Records management and document control; Safeguards and security; Environment, safety, health and quality (ESHQ) program; and Training services.
