"With the 2015 Honda Fit taking to the road in record numbers, our small car with big aspirations is certainly gaining attention from both consumers and media alike. Last month, we saw two indications that the North American-made Fit is fulfilling those ambitions as customer demand pushed it to a new September sales record, up 66% and jurors selected the all-new Fit for the short list for the 2015 North American Car of the Year (NACOY) award. We are honored by both achievements.

There are several worthy competitors for the NACOY honor, but when it comes to being considered for an honor like "car of the year" we think our all-new subcompact would be a really great 'fit.'"
