Sports ground constructed in Chesnokovka settlement of Orenburg Region under Gazprom for Children program

September 4 saw the opening of a versatile sports ground constructed under the Gazprom for Children program in Chesnokovka settlement of the Perevolotsk District, Orenburg Region.

A versatile hockey court with artificial surface situated at the Chesnokovka secondary school premises is designed for playing hockey, futsal, volleyball, basketball, handball and tennis.

At the court opening ceremony Sergey Ivanov, Director General of Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg pointed out that it was already the third sports facility constructed by the company this year within the Gazprom for Children program. Similar sports grounds have recently been installed in the Sharlyk district center and the town of Abdulino. “Children will train here in winter and in summer, and perhaps our sports grounds will foster new champions,” said Mr. Ivanov.

Vadim Vinogradov, Head of the Perevolotsk District thanked the gas workers for supporting the development of mass sports, “The company helps us to implement numerous social projects but the Gazprom for Children program remains in the highest demand, especially the construction of sports facilities for children.”
