The Military Relocation Professional Certification Is Designed To Help Real Estate Pro's Understand The Unique Needs Of Military Members When They Relocate

Samantha McDaniel, a Suma Cum Laude graduate of Park University in Missouri, recently earned her Military Relocation Professional (MRP) Certification in January, 2014.

Having worked in the Real Estate profession for many years, Samantha specializes in VA loans for all branches of the Military – from active-duty to retired Veterans. “My father, grandfather, and several uncles were all in the Military” she says, “and I think many people do not fully understand or appreciate the tremendous sacrifices they make. When I saw that the National Association of Realtors (NAR) was offering a Certification for MRP’s, I decided to make it official. I want to serve - proudly – those who serve.”

As a Military Relocation Professional (MRP) Sam understands PCS situations and has the knowledge to make the most of every selling and buying transaction. She can help Military families find a location with convenient access to Military benefits that they’ve earned. As an MRP, Sam understands VA Financing, Military Benefits, BAH Rates, VA Loan Limits and Relocation Requirements. The two Military bases that she covers are Whiteman Air Force Base and Fort Leavenworth, which are approximately 45 minutes away from Blue Springs, her home town.

Two years ago Sam started and spear heads an annual Military Appreciation Drive. When Sam found out May is Military Appreciation month, she started collecting items for care packages to send to deployed service men and women. This year they added a second phase to the drive to include all Military personnel (active and retired), which is mailing out Certificates of Appreciation. "We do not want anyone to feel forgotten" Sam says, "We want them to know we are thinking about them and appreciate their sacrifice."

Samantha is affectionately known as “Sam I Am” in her local community. It’s a name that she has always been called, due to the popularity of the Dr. Seuss book, and it’s a name everybody remembers. “I like to have fun when I’m helping people buy or sell a home” she says, “If you’re not having fun, you’re not doing it right!”
Sam says “I feel so lucky to have found my passion in Real Estate and cannot wait to get up and start each day. I am a full-time Realtor and absolutely love it! I enjoy being challenged and find in this industry I learn something new every day. But the best part about it, is meeting new people and being a part of something BIG… and buying or selling a home is a big deal! Sam was raised in a small town southeast of Kansas City called Warsaw, but was always thrilled with what the big city represented and loves everything that Kansas City has to offer. “It’s a wonderfully diverse city and our Military members love it because we have award winning schools and a very stable housing market”
