FEMP Launches New Technical Assistance Request Portal

The Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) announces the launch of the new FEMP Technical Assistance request portal. This online tool allows Federal agencies to submit and track requests for assistance with meeting their renewable energy and energy-efficiency goals. During the first phase of this tool, portal assistance is geared toward renewable energy projects. Other project types will be included in later phases.

Agencies can use the portal to submit requests for technical assistance with the planning and implementation phases of renewable energy projects and can track the status of these requests. The portal enables FEMP to better monitor technical assistance requests from Federal agencies, while providing information on training and opportunities for financial assistance.

To learn more about the FEMP Technical Assistance request portal, sign up for the informational webinar scheduled for August 28, 2014, at 2 p.m. Eastern time. The webinar will provide more information on what the portal does and who should use it. It will also include a live demonstration.

Visit the FEMP Technical Assistance request portal, and contact Patrick Shipp with questions.
