August 2014 - Nexamp, a Massachusetts-based solar solutions provider, and NuGen Capital Management, a private equity firm investing in renewable energy and real estate, completed a 2.4 megawatt (MW) solar facility at Fairview Farms in Whately, Massachusetts. Nexamp is the developer, designer, and operator of the ground-mounted solar array. NuGen Capital Management is the owner of the project and has contracted output to University of Massachusetts Amherst for 20 years. The project is estimated to produce enough electricity annually to power nearly 400 homes.
