The new site has extensive content including a series of fictional books by Michael Heath. Born in Ilford, Essex, Michael has spent his entire career within the performing and creative arts. Novelist, screenwriter, director, actor, composer and lyricist, his credits include film, theatre, television, radio and concert hall. In recent years Michael has concentrated primarily on writing novels and screenplays.

Michael’s latest work, “Devereux…and a question of class”, is an engaging crime novel set in 1935 that introduces a new private detective to the world of fiction - Clayton Devereux. After resigning his commission in military intelligence, Devereux set-up his own London detective agency. The routine work of divorce and petty crime bores the urbane Devereux so he is intrigued when a former colleague asks him to assist unofficially in the search for an M.I.5 operative who has gone missing. In a plot that is woven against the actual political and social tensions of the period, the story twists and turns as Devereux’s clandestine investigation gradually uncovers a dangerous and sinister threat to national security and the political stability of pre-war Britain.
