Washington, DC - The Club for Growth PAC issued the following statement in response to news that former Alabama Policy Institute President Gary Palmer won the Republican Primary runoff for Congress in Alabama’s sixth Congressional District. Club members donated over $100,000 directly to Gary’s campaign, and the Club’s Super-PAC, Club for Growth Action, spent over $250,000 in the runoff.  

“Congratulations to Gary Palmer, a smart conservative who will fight the big government liberals in Washington at every turn,” said Club for Growth President Chris Chocola. “Gary will stand for limited government and individual liberty, and he’ll do everything possible to repeal ObamaCare. Alabama conservatives have made a great choice in taxpayer hero Gary Palmer and the Club’s PAC was happy to support him in the Republican runoff election.”
