General Tire’s newest all-season touring tire extended to include 37 new sizes for a total of 81 sizes.
Fort Mill, SC – July 2, 2014. General Tire has extended the size lineup for the wildly popular, AltiMAX™ RT43, General Tire’s newest all-season touring tire. The AltiMAX™ RT43 is designed to give passengers a quiet, comfortable ride, combined with year-round, all-season traction. The enhanced construction of this tire reduces tread distortion for more even treadwear and extended treadlife and ultimately, provides a remarkable value to the consumer. The new AltiMAX™ RT43 line extension includes 37 new sizes and is carried by General Tire dealers across the country.
This tire marries together two new technologies with existing industry-leading technologies to give consumers an all-season touring tire that is a notable value. Available in sizes ranging from 13" – 18” wheel diameters with a UTQG wear rating of 600 for 13" - 15" and 700 for 16” - 18", this stylish tire provides comfort and performance a driver demands
The AltiMAX™ RT43 sports General Tire’s two newest technologies including the Peak Anti-Slip Sipe Design Technology (PASD) that increases the number of biting edges for traction on slippery roads. The tire also contains Low Surface Abrasion Technology (LSA), providing construction elements that reduce tread distortion as the tire rolls, resulting in less surface abrasion promoting even treadwear and extended treadlife.
Additionally, the AltiMAX™ RT43 offers General Tire’s popular Monitor Technology including Replacement Tire Monitor (RTM) and Visual Alignment Indicators (VAI).
