The Southeastern Coastal Wind Coalition is hosting a Resource Assessment and Data Collection Workshop during which experts from industry, academia, and national labs will convene to explore and coordinate wind energy resource assessment efforts in the region as part of a broader "roadmap" to cost-competitive offshore wind in the Southeast. The workshop will focus on resource assessment and research efforts primarily related to coastal and offshore wind energy in the Southeast.

This will not be another "sit and listen" event but instead will be a "let's accomplish some goals" workshop. The morning session will bring attendees up to speed on current efforts and provide the context for the collaborative discussion in the afternoon. Registration is open.
